Random character sketch
First people think she’s an android, but it turns out she’s a reanimated corpse. Later she goes into hiding, but the reason for that is a spoiler.
I’ve also been working on some paintings.
Well more like taking some old unfinished 8x6 paintings and finishing them. Now I just don’t know if I should sell them on Etsy or paint more and go for a gallery. |

So I was at a store and and I found this Shark Tongue box with cute looking characters on the box (except for one). I couldn't find another one any where or find the case it came in. It also had a $.99 sticker on it so I went to the register to buy it. The guy says it's $7.99, I said no, it's $.99, the sticker says so. He sighs, grumbles, and sells it to me for $.99. I then opened it and was met with this, the one character on the box I didn't like. Just my luck (sigh).
Oh yeah, remember that square canvas thing I bought a long time ago and couldn’t decide what to paint on it? Well, I’m actually going to paint something on it!

So I recently finished ICO and finally went on to Shadow of the Colossus. I was at the second colossi, but I had to stop because I parked my horse too close to the cave and he started crying when the colossus was attacking. Poor horse, I’ll leave you further back next time.
I don’t think I’m going to finish this any time soon. |

| no motivation for art |

It has been really weird for me art wise. Even though I’ve managed to draw out a few things, for the most part I have had no motivation or desire to draw at all this year. I don’t know why that is, but it’s making feel frustrated and like I have not accomplished anything at all since I graduated. It’s also making me scared to update my DeviantART page for some reason. I’ve been getting new ideas all year on what to draw, but I could never manage to put the pencil on the paper. I think I’m going to try and go through old drawings and sketches first to see it I can get to drawing something.
So enough of that.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) avatar_fans has been a really boring community lately. Granted, there isn’t much to talk about since the show has ended, but I’m tired of the flood of fan fics and icons (how many times can you crop the same image, call it good, and demand credit?). I really wish all fan works were kept in a different community and this one only for general discussions and questions.
Then again, my interest in Avatar has been wearing down and with most of the posters at that community being younger doesn’t help much either. The only Avatar thing I’m interested in getting is the season three DVD set (what the hell, Nickelodeon? Why so expensive?).
Speaking of communities, as much as I love hetalia, I’m going to have to take it off my friends page since that place gets updated practically every minute. I love most of the content, but all the postings take up too much space. The comic itself is just awesome, though. It makes me want to be a world traveler even more.
It feels good to have Christmas shopping done so early. |

| colored pencil to vector |

I’ve been reworking some older drawings in Illustrator so they could be made into shirts later. I’ve been mostly working with my inked drawings since they wouldn’t look much different in vector and would look smoother.
But I decided to work on an old colored pencil drawing:

I’m actually happy with how this came out. I always thought that some of the coloring on the older drawing wasn’t that good, but it all comes out looking interesting in vector. I wouldn’t be able to use this for a shirt since there are too many colors for me to afford at the moment, but I did order some postcard/art cards of this image to be made to sell later.
So yeah, I’ve been having lots of fun doing vector images lately. |

| what to do about DA prints |

So I have drawings all sized and ready to upload for prints on DeviantART, but I don’t know if I should have a signature or not.
When looking through the prints at DA, I noticed that a lot of people don’t have a signature or name on any of their prints while some do have a simple signature. Now I’m trying to decide if I should put a signature on my drawings or not. If I do, should I put “kam” like I've done in the past or put “K. Madura” since that’s the name I have a my DA page and my website?
If you guys have any suggestions, I welcome them. |
